Moved bases This summer, Musk decided he was moving the headquarters of two of his companies — social media platform X and rocket company SpaceX — to Texas from California. The decision to move was due to a new gender identity law in California that was, according to Musk, “the final straw.” The new law will prevent schools from requiring teachers to notify parents when pupils’ gender identity changes. Musk also announced that the X headquarters would be moved to Austin. – We need the opportunity to develop Starbase as a community.
