During discussions on the program Espn 360, Aristizábal mentioned the necessity for the team to achieve success this semester. He stated, “Not a big payroll, they have to be champions in December. The obligation is to be champions; runners-up is no good.”
He further remarked that if Nacional falls short of the title, significant changes would follow: “If Nacional does not win the title this semester, 10 or 15 players would have to leave. There is no other way.” This places immense pressure on González, who is still acclimating to his new role, especially with a squad that has recently welcomed four newcomers.
