A Major Drug Operation Links Ex-Boxer Victor Purreta to Drug Trafficking Network

Evidence revealed that a woman, who was the partner of a narco imprisoned alongside Purreta, was responsible for supplying and transporting drugs from Buenos Aires to La Pampa. This woman operated from Villa Zavaleta , and during the earlier raid, authorities confiscated 1.5 kilograms of high-purity cocaine .

On October 7, 2014 , Purreta was sentenced to 18 years in prison for his crimes, a sentence that was subsequently united with another, amounting to a total of 25 years in correctional custody. Disturbingly, psychiatric evaluations classified him as a psychopath, leaving no doubt about his guilt in the murder of López, even though her body was never found.
