Free Veterinary Campaign Details
The Municipality of Lince is excited to announce a free veterinary campaign set for Sunday, May 17. The event will occur at César Vallejo Avenue, block 11, intersecting with Jirón Mateo Pumacahua, running from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This initiative aims to offer vital preventive veterinary care to the district’s pets, enhancing their health and well-being.
Both dogs and cats are welcome, but they must arrive in carriers and with blankets for safety and comfort. The comprehensive clinical services offered will cover a variety of health needs, particularly for elderly pets living at home.
Veterinary Services Offered
The campaign will provide several essential services, including:
- Veterinary consultations: General evaluations of the animal’s physical and behavioral condition, along with nutrition guidance.
- Deworming: Administering medications to eliminate parasites, safeguarding their health.
- Flea treatments: Utilizing products that control and eradicate flea infestations, ensuring skin and coat protection.
- Ear cleaning: Removing dirt to prevent infections in the ear canal.
- Direct ear examination: Professional evaluations to check for mites, fungi, or signs of otitis.
- Nail cutting: Trimming to minimize injuries and enhance walking comfort.
- Cardiological examinations: Assessing cardiac function to detect any anomalies.
- Rabies vaccine: Immunization against rabies, available until stock runs out.
- Quintuple vaccine: Protection against five common viral conditions in dogs, also limited in availability.

Furthermore, additional vaccines will be offered at a minimal cost to encourage more pet owners to take advantage of these preventive measures:
- KC vaccine: Protects dogs against infectious tracheobronchitis.
- Triple feline: Vaccinates cats against three severe ailments: panleukopenia, calicivirus, and rhinotracheitis.
- Leptospira: Guards against leptospirosis, a hazardous bacterial disease for both pets and humans.
- Quintuple booster: Available at a reduced price as a reinforcement for dogs.
