31 December 2022 at 08:16 A person died after a traffic accident on Jæren The emergency services received a report in the morning about a traffic accident on Timevegen just outside Bryne. The people involved must be a car and a person. The person, who was standing along the road, is said to have been hit by the vehicle. One person is injured, and the accident appears to be serious, the police report at 08.11. – I cannot go into details, but the accident appears to be serious. It is the soft road user who is injured. The person who drove the car is not physically injured, says operations manager for the police, Roger Litlatun, at 08.35. At 08.43 the police confirm that one person has died at the scene, and that the road will be closed for a longer period in the future.
