Improvements Everywhere: Hello, Pixelsnap
The design of the new Pixel 10 is practically identical to what the Pixel 9 already had, but there is a clear difference in the camera module . It’s not about its arrangement or format — which follows the line of its predecessors — but because this module now includes three sensors instead of two. We’ll dive deeper into this later.

The form factor remains similar to its predecessors, but the bulk has increased slightly from 8.5mm to 9.6mm , resulting in a weight increase from 198g to 204g . This minor adjustment allows for a larger battery, upgrading from 4,700 mAh to 4,970 mAh .
However, the fast charging is somewhat toned down, permitting fast charging at 30 W instead of the previous 45 W , and wireless charging at 15 W, reduced from 18 W .
A noteworthy technological introduction is Pixelsnap , touted as Google’s equivalent of MagSafe . This magnetic technology allows wireless chargers to be easily coupled with Qi2 standard , supporting various accessories for the Pixel 10, which will likely be available from both Google and third parties.
The display remains consistent in resolution and size at 6.3 inches , yet now boasts an impressive brightness level of 2,000 nits (HDR) , maxing out at 3,000 nits . Compared to the Pixel 9, which had a peak brightness of 1,800/2,700 nits , this enhancement is particularly beneficial for outdoor visibility.

These chips reportedly possess a TPU that is up to 60% more powerful for AI functions , while the CPU is approximately 34% faster . This boost will enhance fluidity across various tasks, improving interface and application management, especially regarding camera functionality. Here, the new personalized ISP aims to reclaim the Pixel 10’s status as a benchmark in mobile photography.
Welcome, Telephoto
When it comes to photography, the Pixel series has always excelled, and there are some exciting updates this time. Historically, telephoto sensors were reserved for the Pro/XL models, but this changes with the Pixel 10.

Thus, the Pixel 10 is the first in the series to include a telephoto sensor — specifically a 10.8 MP sensor with F/3.1 aperture and a 5x optical zoom . Additionally, the digital zoom capabilities will reach up to 20x thanks to the Super Res Zoom technology .
Alongside the telephoto sensor, users will benefit from the main 48 megapixel sensor and a 13 megapixel wide-angle lens. Interestingly, while the telephoto sensor is new, the main and wide-angle sensors are not the same as those utilized in the Pixel 9, offering users fresh photographic opportunities.
Another exciting addition to the Pixel 10 is the Camera Coach , an interactive “photography mentor,” which leverages the GEMINI AI model to assist users in achieving optimal compositions and photo quality.
The Pixel 10 will be available in four alluring colors: Obsidian (gray), Frost (pale blue), Indigo (blue), and Lemongrass (a pale green with a yellow tint). The device comes pre-installed with Android 16 and guarantees seven years of updates . In Spain, the Pixel 10 will feature a SIM card slot and an eSIM slot for added convenience.
Availability and Price of Pixel 10
The new Google Pixel 10 launches in four distinct colors : gray, pale blue, blue, and light green. Its official price starts from 899 euros . It is now available for pre-order and will officially hit the market on August 28 .
