La UD Las Palmas ha confirmado este jueves el fallecimiento de su joven canterano Zeben Ramos, quien permanecía en coma en el Hospital Doctor Negrín de la capital grancanaria desde el pasado 9 de junio, cuando sufrió un atropello en El Puertillo, municipio de Arucas, informa EFE.
El joven valor de la cantera amarilla, de apenas 23 años, sufrió un traumatismo craneoencefálico grave por el que tuvo que ser operado de urgencia y tras el que continuó durante 16 días bajo atención médica especializada.
El club grancanario, que ha especificado que Ramos no ha podido superar las graves lesiones sufridas tras el atropello, ha “lamentado profundamente” el deceso y ha trasladado sus condolencias a la familia, amigos, compañeros y a todas las personas que compartieron camino con Zeben Ramos en su trayectoria deportiva.
Tras este trágico suceso, el club insular ratifica que “toda la familia amarilla se une al dolor por la pérdida de Zeben”, una persona que estará “siempre en el corazón de la UD Las Palmas”.
