A tragic accident occurred late at night in Aydınlar Mahallesi, leading to the loss of multiple lives. Two vehicles, a car with license plate 27 AY 25 and a light commercial vehicle with plate 27 BBB 183 , collided head-on near the local cemetery, known as Asri Mezarlık.
THREE LIVES LOST ON THE SCENE
Witnesses of the incident quickly reported the situation to the Emergency Call Center (112) . In response to the call, numerous health and police teams were dispatched to the accident site. Upon arrival, the health teams conducted checks and confirmed that three individuals had lost their lives at the scene.
TWO MORE VICTIMS DIE IN HOSPITAL
Four injured victims were transported to various hospitals in the city for treatment following initial medical intervention.
Tragically, two of the injured later succumbed to their injuries despite all medical efforts to save them. Meanwhile, it has been reported that two other victims are still under treatment.
IDENTITIES OF THE VICTIMS REVEALED
Authorities have identified the victims of the accident. The driver of the car, Yunus Emre Kuvrağ , alongside İsmail Volkan Deler , was among those who tragically lost their lives. Additionally, the driver of the light commercial vehicle’s wife, Gülistan Kestanlıoğlu , and their children, Atlas Mete (1) and Eylülü Kestanlıoğlu (6), were also killed in the accident. The light commercial vehicle’s driver, Ahmet Kestanlıoğlu , and his mother, Naile Kestanlıoğlu , sustained injuries and continue to receive medical attention.
