The teachers’ strike has been going on since before the summer holidays, but it was only in August that the big withdrawals started to arrive. From Monday, around 3,000 teachers will strike. The last large withdrawal was announced on Wednesday. Then came the news that 1,423 more were called out on strike. Then, as now, the message to the teachers was that KS had to come to the negotiating table. – If there is a will on the part of the employer to find another solution for the teachers, then this conflict can be ended, says Steffen Handal, leader of the Education Association in a press release.
