At the end of February, the mobile brigade of the national police in Spain identified one of the two men charged in Madrid. This happened during a routine check. The man tried to catch a bus on the way to Lisbon in Portugal and had false documentation with him. He was arrested and charged with murder, document forgery, breaking traffic rules, and leaving his mother behind after her death. His roommate, who is also the presumed perpetrator, has not yet been located. That’s what newspaper GD says, which refers to the Spanish newspaper Sur. Avisa Sur wrote that investigators from the Specialized and Violent Crime Unit (UDEV) at the Torremolinos police station have investigated the case. They must have confirmed that Anne Mathea Morken was last seen in the morning hours of 11 September in the company of two “acquaintances” in Fuengirola. The two are both Senegalese in their 30s. These are supposed to be connected to a drug environment. When the police went to the flat the two shared in Fuengirola, they should have already disappeared. The police must have found out that one of them had crossed into a city in Morocco two days after Morken was found. The men were wanted internationally, and charged with Morken’s death. Died probably from narcotic drugs The autopsy report said that Morken probably died from narcotic drugs. Now the Spanish police have concluded that the people who gave her the drugs dumped her on a pavement after she died.
