This is confirmed by the Reuters channel. Journalist Ramy Budair was also killed in the same attack, his employer the Palestinian New Press Agency confirms. Al Jazeera reported this afternoon that Abudaqa and his colleague Wael al-Dahdouh were injured in an attack near a school in Khan Younis. Al-Dahdouh was slightly injured and was taken to hospital. He is said to have stated that the photographer was critically injured. Later, other Al Jazeera reporters in Gaza reported that the ambulance struggled to reach Abudaqa. – The roads were blocked with the remains of a destroyed house, colleague Tareq Abu Azzoum told the channel an hour ago. Azzoum is in Rafah, which is even further south in Gaza than Khan Younis. The ambulance sent to collect Abudaqa reportedly returned to the hospital without Abudaqa.
