The Senate has adopted a budget proposal from the Republicans, reports Ap. The state apparatus in the United States is thus not closed down. The Democrats ‘minority leader in the Senate Chuck Schumer made a full turn on Friday and said he would still vote for the Republicans’ budget proposal to prevent shutdown. Nine other Democrats followed him and the budget proposal was adopted with 62 against 38 votes in the first vote. Also in the last and final vote it was adopted, and now President Donald Trump’s signature is now waiting. (US)
