A man in his 40s died after being subjected to violence at Mosby in Kristiansand on the night of Easter Sunday. The police asked for two weeks’ detention for the man in his 40s, who is charged with grievous bodily harm resulting in death. After the prison meeting in Agder District Court, the accused’s defense attorney Vibeke Knutsen says that he does not plead guilty. – What I can say is that he is describing an accident. I can’t say more. He acknowledges that he has been present, according to Knutsen. The court decided that the detention hearing should be held behind closed doors due to the risk of evidence being tampered with and private considerations. On Monday evening, the ruling came from the Agder District Court. The police were successful in their request for remand, reports Fædrelandsvennen. The defense attorney says the accused is taking it terribly hard, but that he is cooperating with the police. – He is very cooperative and explains himself in the questions he receives. This is what police prosecutor Ulrik Skaar Klokkehaug told news on Sunday. The incident has not been categorized as a homicide.
