Kahn entend reprendre le club bordelais, en situation de redressement judiciaire depuis l’été dernier et qui a échoué sportivement pour remonter en National à l’issue de la saison.
Rendez-vous a été donné par l’instance judiciaire au 13 juin, pour examiner les deux offres, ce qui repousse la décision sur l’avenir du club au 20 juin, seulement quatre jours avant l’audition du club devant la Direction nationale de contrôle et de gestion (DNCG) – laquelle pourrait être décalée.
Selon un administrateur judiciaire, M. Kahn a déposé « une lettre d’intention non engageante à ce stade ». L’ancien gardien de 55 ans a un peu plus de deux semaines pour finaliser son dossier. Son intérêt pour une reprise des Girondins remonte à janvier, et il s’était rendu en bords de Garonne un mois plus tard, pour y rencontrer notamment le maire de la ville, Pierre Hurmic, en compagnie de son partenaire d’affaires, l’ex-président de l’Olympique de Marseille Jacques-Henri Eyraud.
Début avril, M. Kahn avait annoncé avoir proposé 30 millions d’euros pour assainir les finances du club perclus de dettes, ajoutant avoir accompagné cette offre d’une « preuve de ces fonds ».
