31 May 2023 at 18:52 Offshore wind investment explodes with NOK 8 billion The support requirement for the development of the first large offshore wind project in Norway, Sørlige Nordsjø II, is jacked up with NOK 8 billion. Previously, the government believed that NOK 15 billion in state subsidies was necessary, so now the ceiling has been raised to NOK 23 billion. The figures are confirmed by Oil and Energy Minister Terje Aasland to news. Earlier today, the Conservative Party withdrew from the negotiations on offshore wind because they believed it would be too expensive.
