Temperatures of up to 15–16 degrees are expected in coastal areas in Western Norway, Southern Norway and gradually also in Eastern Norway. On Monday, 15.6 degrees were measured at Sola in Rogaland. The average temperature in the largest cities for the whole of October in 2021 was 8.7 degrees in Oslo and 9.8 degrees in Bergen, according to Værstat. Meteorologist on duty, Ingrid Berntsen, says winter is not quite on its way yet, and it is also quite possible that the snow that has fallen in the mountains in recent weeks may partially disappear. – It is also mild in the mountains. We mostly expect precipitation as rain there for the next few days. Although it will be mild in the south, there will probably not be that much sun. The warm temperatures will last for the rest of the month, after which it is more uncertain, according to the meteorologist.
