With the bitter cold of winter and the dark nights descending upon us, we all need something to warm our hearts a little extra. Fortunately, that’s exactly why we have cats. Now we want to pay tribute to these wonderful balls of fur by awarding the year’s “cat of the year”! Is your cat heartwarming, charming or simply irresistible? We want to hear your love story! This year’s lucky cat is announced on Lucia Day itself, 13 December. Criteria Our jury, consisting of experienced cat enthusiasts, will assess the entries based on the following criteria: Charm and personality: We look for cats that radiate charm and have a unique personality. Image quality: Clear and beautiful images that capture the cat’s beauty and charm. The story: What exactly makes your cat special? The four-legged winner gets a little attention in the mail, while the proud owner gets a DAB radio (which of course benefits cats who are home alone in the form of good company).
