New Registration Dates for Pension for People with Disabilities
The Pension for the Welfare of Persons with Permanent Disabilities has recently announced a new registration period aimed at expanding coverage in Mexico. Ariadna Montiel Reyes, the head of the Ministry of Welfare, disclosed the details during the broadcast of The Morning of the People on March 16.
Registration Period
The official registration period will take place from Monday, March 23 to Sunday, March 29. This initiative primarily targets residents aged 0 to 29 years in states such as Aguascalientes, Coahuila, Chihuahua, Durango, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Nuevo León, and Querétaro. In the rest of the country, the age limit extends to 64 years. Individuals who meet the specified criteria can apply for social support by providing the required documentation.
Required Documentation
To register, applicants must present the following documents:
- Valid official identification (options include voting card, passport, professional card, INAPAM card, or identity card)
- CURP (updated version)
- Proof of address (not older than 6 months, such as telephone, electricity, gas, water, or property bills)
- Disability certificate (issued by a public health institution)
- Contact telephone numbers (both cell phone and home)
Staggered Registration Process
Registering for the pension will be conducted in a staggered manner based on the first letter of applicants’ CURP. Here’s the schedule:
- Monday, March 23 | Letters A, B, C
- Tuesday, March 24 | Letters D, E, F, G, H
- Wednesday, March 25 | Letters I, J, K, L, M
- Thursday, March 26 | Letters N, Ñ, O, P, Q, R
- Friday, March 27 | Letters S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z
- Saturday, March 28 | All letters accepted
- Sunday, March 29 | All letters accepted
