Jehovah’s Witnesses sued the state, after the state manager in Oslo and Viken in 2022 deprived Jehovah’s witnesses state grants and public registration as a religious community. In March last year, the state was acquitted in March last year, and Jehovah’s Witnesses were sentenced to pay case costs. The religious community appealed, and the case was up for Borgarting Court of Appeal 3 to 14 February, according to the court’s overview.
