Laughter and good humor become international with the new comedy festival What a Joke!, a celebration that will feature humorists from different Spanish-speaking countries such as Spain, Mexico, and Colombia, in order to build bridges between monologists and artists from around the world.
This is how the first Latin American comedy festival is presented, which on November 1 will bring together more than four thousand attendees in the Pepsi Center WTC of Mexico City.
The event, baptized as What a Joke!, seeks to break borders and project new talents in an unprecedented humorous marathon.
For almost twelve continuous hours of monologues, comedian battles, and other formats, the public can enjoy a program that includes both consecrated stars and emerging humorists from less recognized countries in the circuit, such as Costa Rica.
The poster of the event stands out for its diversity and features figures such as Carlos Ballarta, Martita de Graná, Alex Fernández, Fucks News, Chiqui Aguayo, José R. Guzmán, Mateo Garrido Lecca, Coco Celis, The Happy Lush, Pantomima Full, Tres, Kike Vázquez, Roberto Chairez, Stephan Dyer, María A dry, neighborhood sirens, Sandro Ruiz, and Silvia in front.
The organization of the festival has opted for a total renewal of traditional stand-up comedy, with the aim of building diverse narratives and offering a true carnival to celebrate humor.
The Pepsi Center will become a space where laughter will be the protagonist, allowing attendees to share moments and relieve daily stress. The proposal invites you to imagine a whole day where the only concern will be choosing which comedian will make you laugh the most.
The presale of tickets will be available through Ticketmaster, starting from the Banamex presale on July 9 at 11:00 AM. From the following day, tickets will be available to the general public on the same platform.
The planned capacity exceeds four thousand people, consolidating What a Joke! as one of the most ambitious comedy events that the country has seen.
The festival not only seeks to entertain but also aims to build bridges between artists from various Spanish-speaking countries, promoting cultural exchange and the projection of new talents.
The presence of humorists from Spain, Mexico, Colombia, and Costa Rica reinforces the international character of the event, aspiring to become a reference for comedy in the region.
What a Joke! promises an overdose of ingenuity, improvisation, and laughter, with the participation of more than a dozen monologists and artists ready to make CDMX burst into laughter.
