First Johannes Thingnes Bø fell on a roller ski mill – then he was bitten by a viper – news Sport – Sports news, results and broadcasting schedule

– You are breathing heavily. Are you poorly trained? – So sick. It lasted for two rounds. That’s what Johannes Thingnes Bø told news after completing the pairs relay during the Oslo Ski Show this weekend. – I just find it so heavy that not a single gram sticks with me, he continued. BREATHED HEAVY: Johannes Thingnes Bø claims he is miles away from top form. Photo: Terje Bendiksby / NTB The form is not quite at its best after many incidents have put an end to Thingnes Bø in the run-up to the season. To start with the last thing first – recently he took time out to be a gardener at home in his own garden at Kongsvinger. But when he came back in from gardening, he realized something was wrong. – When I came in, I saw that a little blood was flowing from the calf, and then I saw two stab wounds. Then you put two and two together, he says. Because the bite turned out to be from a viper. And the trip continued to the emergency room. – I felt safe and looked after there. Let’s hope that worm gives me the same magical superpowers as Spiderman did with his spider bite, says Thingnes Bø with a twinkle in his eye. Because before the meeting with the viper in the garden, Thingnes Bø was also unlucky in his own cellar. In June, he told TV 2 about a fall on the roller ski mill, when he ended up losing his footing and crashing straight into the wall. Speaking to news, he elaborates: – I just wasn’t quite there and went on my stomach. Anyone who has been on a treadmill before knows that it doesn’t stop. Then I followed the tape backwards and into the wall and then I lay on my side after it. – But no damage was done. It went much better than it sounds, he says reassuringly. – How often does it happen? – It is the first time. I have been waiting for it and it will surely happen again. But that’s the game. – A heavy month But as if that wasn’t enough, Thingnes Bø tells about a fall on a trampoline, which has led to back problems. He has also struggled with an eye infection. Now the ironing hopes that the arrow will point upwards. – Everything came in a row and row there. It came after a quiet period, after the first three weeks of May were very good. It has been a tough last month. – It’s probably the total amount that has put me off a bit, but no danger. No damage has occurred. You just have to work your way up, says Thingnes Bø, who has come to admit that his fear of worms and snakes has now been cured. – I have always been a bit afraid and skeptical of snakes and things like that. – It’s strange about that. Now I have both seen and been bitten by worms and I am less afraid than before. I have been exposed well. The fear I had before is no longer present.
