In the coastal districts of Erdemli and Silifke, Mersin experienced a surge of tourists due to the  Kurban Bayram  festivities. With temperatures at  32 degrees  and sea water hovering around  24 degrees , many holidaymakers opted for the area’s scenic beaches.

At  Kızkalesi , an ancient site listed in the  UNESCO World Heritage Temporary List , visitors spent leisurely hours basking in the sun and swimming in the inviting waters.

During the four-day holiday, while some citizens traveled to vacation spots and others returned to their hometowns, those remaining in İstanbul also flocked to the local beaches and shores. Bodrum, one of the world’s premier tourism destinations, reached peak activity on the second day of  Kurban Bayram . Famous for its stunning beaches, Bodrum saw significant crowds at Kumbahçe, Gümbet, Bitez, Ortakent, Yalıkavak, Gündoğan, and Türkbükü.

With temperatures climbing to  33 degrees  and sea temperatures at  22 degrees , both local and international tourists enjoyed the option to swim or sunbathe on the golden sands.

Visitors participated in organized events at private beach establishments, enriching their holiday experience even further.

İzmir Çeşme: A Summer Hotspot

İzmir’s Çeşme district, renowned for its beauty, welcomed an influx of tourists from various regions in Turkey due to the  Kurban Bayram  holiday. With hotel occupancy rates soaring up to  90 percent , the beaches were filled with families and day-trippers, all there to soak up the rays.

As temperatures rose to around  30 degrees  during the afternoon, many visitors made their way to the famous  Ilıca Beach  to relish the sun and take refreshing dips in the sea.
