Trump described the deal, stating it is “the most important order of planes in the history of Boeing.” This massive agreement signifies a staggering “more than $200 billion for 160 planes”, equivalent to 178 billion euros.

However, scrutiny surrounds the pricing details of such an order. While Boeing has stopped publishing a catalog price, based on the previous value of its most expensive model, the **Boeing 777X**, estimates for a contract involving 160 long-range aircraft hover around $70 billion. This markedly contrasts with Trump’s assertion of costs exceeding $200 billion. Industry analysts emphasize that airlines typically receive significant discounts for bulk purchases, casting further doubt on the president’s claims.

A Series of Agreements Signed Alongside the Emir of Qatar
