Clay balls, to absorb and drain the water in a pot
These small balls are obtained by a process of cooking pure clay at more than 1,000 degrees. After drying, the clay is extruded in small pellets, which are then placed in specific ovens where they undergo the cooking and expansion process, which increases their volume up to five times and makes them very light. This phenomenon is due to the generation of gas by combustion of the organic elements present in matter, which allow it to swell like popcorn.
