This year on “Mariés au Premier Regard,” several couples have struggled to ignite the spark of attraction. Notably, Laury and Anthony never managed to get closer after their wedding in Gibraltar, despite the numerous efforts made by Laury. Similarly, Marina found herself in an unfortunate situation. Despite being 77% compatible with David, she experienced an immediate physical block. She had previously told the experts that she wasn’t attracted to bald men, and unfortunately discovered on the wedding day that David had a shaved head. Yet, that did not stop her from saying “yes.”
Mariés au Premier Regard: David and Marina Set Off on Their Honeymoon
Recently, David and Marina got the opportunity to learn more about each other on “Mariés au Premier Regard.” It’s clear that the 43-year-old entrepreneur is deeply infatuated with his new wife. As he expressed the morning after their wedding night, “Upon waking, she is still as beautiful. It’s very nice to wake up under these circumstances.”
The couple then flies to Morocco, providing a perfect opportunity to initiate their first physical closeness. Warning: spoiler ahead! In the upcoming episode airing on June 2 on M6, a tension will emerge between David and Marina as they embark on a camel ride.
The Silence Settles Between the Two Contestants
The couple soon takes a moment to enjoy a glass of champagne, which David describes as a moment definitely conducive to attraction: “I want to express myself, to let her know that she’s someone I like“. However, this intimate moment quickly gives way to silence, creating a fissure between the newlyweds.
“It’s a pity this opportunity was missed”, laments Marie Tapernoux as she analyzes the situation further: “It’s a trap when you postpone an important conversation for too long, stress accumulates. We end up making a mountain out of a molehill. David interprets instead of asking, and has no answers. If he dares not pose the question, it may be because deep down, he knows the answer.”
Marina Disappointed with Her Relationship with David: “We’re Falling Asleep.”
Unfortunately, the situation is unlikely to improve. Marina is about to reveal her true feelings to David. “At first, we learn to know each other. Normally, that’s an exciting stage. There’s a desire for kisses, touches, and closeness. On his side, I haven’t felt anything in particular. He is not being seductive. I’m still disappointed because I see that nothing is happening. It’s not progressing,” she confides to M6 cameras.
Continuing candidly, she touches upon the physical aspect: “By default, he’s a handsome man, but he doesn’t attract me. Beyond that, I’m bored; it’s flat. Every time we’re left alone, once we exchange a few mundane words, nothing more happens. We share a commonality, which is that we’re not expressive; we’re falling asleep. I feel weighted down, a bit anxious because even at bedtime with David, we turn our backs and go to sleep. I feel a bit suffocated; I need my space.” Is this sufficient to consider a divorce?
