The man was taken by ambulance and is being treated for stab wounds. The police in Sør-Vest report this on Twitter. The police have armed themselves and are searching for possible perpetrators, including at the train station and in residential areas on Nærbø. The police are investigating the case, and say it is too early to go into details about the course of events. Operations leader in the Sør-West police district, Ole Bjørn Paulsen, says that the extent of the man’s injuries is uncertain. The police have so far not been informed that the injuries are life-threatening.
