28 June 2024 at 08:05 Shopping jump in May Norwegian shops experienced a strong jump in turnover in May. This is shown by recent figures from Statistics Norway. The turnover volume in the retail trade rose by 3.2 per cent from April to May 2024, seasonally adjusted figures show. For the period March 2024 to May 2024, there was an increase of 1.8 per cent from the previous three-month period. Retail trade has mostly been stable over the past year and the trend has been flat. The big increase now in May contributes to a solid upswing, and we have to go back to the corona pandemic to see similarly large change figures, writes SSB.
