Former Storting representative and Oslo city council member Erling Folkvord (R) has died. The family informs NTB. Folkvord died on Friday afternoon. He was traveling in Stockholm in connection with a book project about Kurdistan and Palestine. Folkvord was born in Levanger in Trøndelag. He has been politically active since the 60s, and from 1990 to 1997 he was deputy leader of the Workers’ Communist Party (AKP).
