19 November 2023 at 18:20 Foreign Ministry confirms: New flight from Cairo on Monday 112 Norwegian citizens and persons connected to Norway crossed the border into Egypt at Rafah on Saturday 18 November. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has now confirmed to news that these are also offered to be flown to Norway with Norwegian. – We have today decided to set up an extra flight from Cairo to Oslo tomorrow, Monday, in collaboration with Norwegian. This is an offer to the Norwegian citizens who got out of Gaza yesterday and who want to go home to Norway, says press officer in the Foreign Ministry Mathias Rongved to news. Yesterday the country landed the first flight with around 80 Norwegian citizens from Gaza in Oslo Airport. In total, 270 Norwegian citizens, or people with strong connections to Norway, have asked for assistance to get out of the war zone.
