– It will be very interesting to go deeper into the answer from SMK about Erna Solberg’s competency assessments. That’s what the speaker of the control and constitutional committee, Grunde Almeland (V), says. The answer came this morning, and tells what assessments were made when Solberg was prime minister from 2013 to 2021 while the man traded stocks. – It seems quite clear that Solberg may have been incompetent in up to several cases during his time as prime minister, and that is very serious, says Almeland. – These are answers that, in my opinion and that of the Liberal Party, will be central to the control committee’s process when we approach the hearings later this autumn, and will later draw conclusions in the case. The committee will attempt to survey the extent and frequency of integrity violations, both in Solberg’s case but also regarding the current government’s handling of the integrity regulations.
