The accident happened on the E6 near the exit to Rygge airport. There, a lorry on its way north drove through the guardrail and partly into the oncoming lane. – According to witnesses, the trailer has started to wobble right before the accident. It has driven off the road and into the crash barrier. About 200 meters of guardrail have been damaged, says operations manager Ronny Samuelsen in the Eastern police district. The driver was not injured The emergency services immediately moved out. According to the police, the driver of the trailer is unharmed. The police work on the spot, and Samuelsen does not yet know the reason why the train started to sway while driving. – As of now, we do not have an overview of it. We are working on it on site now, so I expect we will get an answer to that eventually. Lots of queues and detours The accident creates major traffic problems. Traffic operator Mette Brunes at Vegtrafikksentralen says that right now it is completely closed on E6. There is a detour on county road 18 towards Sweden from junction 13 Årvollkrysset or junction 12 Halmstadkrysset. Towards Oslo from 10 Åsgård or cross 11 Jonsten.
