At the same time as the infection tracing after the barn event took place, the outbreak of infection occurred at the housing association where the auxiliary nurse worked. Among other things, the woman is said to have dropped a face mask in food and grooming situations with the users. In the decision, which news has been given access to, they write that «by not following current routines about bandages when you were at work and in contact with users [ …], you acted in a way that violated the requirement for professionally sound professional practice ». They also write that “By failing to follow infection control routines, you exposed users to infection and serious illness.” According to the Norwegian Board of Health’s decision, the auxiliary nurse had also shared a post on an internal Facebook group for employees at Solgløtt, where she expressed skepticism about wearing a bandage. It was the State Administrator in the Interior who sent the case of the employee to the Norwegian Board of Health. The state administrator, for his part, opened an audit following an anonymous report of concern. The decision on the warning was appealed by the woman and her lawyer Barbro Paulsen. – It is important to emphasize that the case has not been decided yet, Paulsen writes. The woman, for her part, believes she was not met because she struggled with a bandage, and that she had major health problems due to the use. – I received a letter from a doctor stating that it was not advisable for me to wear a face mask, but that I could use a visor at work.
