Jonny Karlsen is a spokesperson in the Norwegian Armed Forces’ operational headquarters (FOH). Karlsen states that the warship will sail along the Norwegian coast, but that FOH does not give details about where the USS “Gerald R. Ford” will sail. The American aircraft carrier will practice with large parts of the Norwegian defense during its stay along the Norwegian coast. – We cannot say how far north it will go, says the spokesperson in FOH. They will eventually be able to say something about where the aircraft carrier will practice with the Norwegian defence. – We must be predictable and transparent with what we do.
