The rocket probably fell into the sea in Japan’s economic zone, according to Japanese authorities. The General Staff in South Korea states that the rocket was discovered around 10.15am on Friday. It was launched from the Sunan area just outside North Korea’s capital Pyongyang and flew over the country in an easterly direction before falling into the sea between North Korea and Japan.
