As you have already imagined by the name, its key feature is its screen with  Nxtpaper technology  that reminds us of the electronic ink found in e-books. Let’s see what it offers us.

The Screen That Takes Care of Your Eyes

TCL Nxtpaper 60 Ultra

The screen is the absolute protagonist, starting with its size of  7.2 inches , but especially because it features  Nxtpaper 4.0  technology that, according to TCL, has  seven technologies focused on eye care . Its matte texture and polarized light filter achieve complete elimination of reflections and nearly  97% reduction of glare .

Moreover, it eliminates flickering, reduces blue light exposure, and includes a low brightness mode that allows visibility with just  2 nits . It even features an ink mode, which transforms the display into black and white — ideal for reading.

If you’ve ever tried a TCL device with a similar screen, you’ll notice that it doesn’t feel like a typical touchscreen; it has a soft matte texture reminiscent of an e-book. Furthermore, it is compatible with the  T Pen , which TCL claims feels like writing on paper. Though its resolution may not particularly stand out (it is full HD, which is acceptable for a mid-range device), it boasts a  120Hz refresh rate .

Goodbye Electronic Ink, Hello reflective LCD: This is the screen technology that wants to reinvent e-readers

On the screen, you will find the front camera with  32 megapixels , while the rear boasts a  triple camera system . The main sensor is the most capable, designed for maximum use due to its size and luminosity, followed by a telephoto lens that offers a  3x zoom , and an 8MP ultra-wide camera.

Correct Features for Your Range

TCL is known as a mid-range and entry-level smartphone brand, hence while the  Nxtpaper 60 Ultra  is the most sophisticated in their lineup, it does not feature the most powerful processor available in the market. TCL opts for the  MediaTek Dimensity 7400 , paired with a Mali-G615 GPU and  12GB of RAM . For storage, two variants are offered:  256GB or 512GB . It houses a battery of  5,200 mAh , which is compatible with fast charging up to  33W . TCL claims that it can recharge in 1 hour and 30 minutes, promising a daily battery life of approximately 14 hours.

The operating system is  Android 15 , enriched with numerous  artificial intelligence  functions. One standout feature transforms a book into a podcast, enabling users to listen to texts whenever desired. While reading, there are dedicated options for  speed reading , summaries, and Q&A modes.

Versions and Prices of the Nxtpaper 60 Ultra

As previously mentioned, the phone comes in two versions based on storage capacity, which also includes a  book cover and T Pen . It will soon be available in Spain with the following pricing:

  • TCL Nxtpaper 60 Ultra 256GB: 499 euros.
  • TCL Nxtpaper 60 Ultra 512GB: 549 euros.

With impressive features at its price point, the  TCL Nxtpaper 60 Ultra  stands out as a compelling option for those seeking a mid-range smartphone equipped with pioneering screen technology and significant battery endurance.
