The Voice has presented its thrilling new features at a press conference on Monday. The event took place in Vitoria-Gasteiz, where the cast of this beloved musical talent show gathered to unveil what fans can expect in the upcoming season. Once again, Eva González will host the show, bringing her charm and enthusiasm back to the stage.

This season features an exciting lineup of coaches, including Mika, Malú, Pablo López, and Sebastián Yatra. During the Vitoria event, they revealed their special advisors, who will help them form the strongest teams to compete for victory. María Becerra, Joaquina, Carla Morrison, and Chiara Oliver will join Yatra, Malú, Mika, and Pablo López, respectively, adding a fresh layer of talent to the show.

Atresmedia and ITV Studios highlighted the unique characteristics of this season. One of the most exciting additions is the Megloqueo, an innovative tool allowing a coach to secure a contestant in their team if all chairs have turned, blocking the other three coaches. This feature, which can be used only once per coach, enhances the strategic element of the competition.

Another groundbreaking feature is the Repentance button, allowing coaches to reconsider their decision by giving a second chance to a contestant who was not initially selected during the Blind auditions. This mechanism is restricted to a single use per coach and can lead to unexpected twists in the competition. Additionally, three non-selected performers will have a unique opportunity to take the stage unexpectedly for an acoustic performance. If a coach clicks their button during this segment, the artist instantly becomes a contestant.

The Command, a hallmark of the show, remains integral to this season’s format. Coaches create personalized playlists of significant songs, which play whenever they use the remote control, creating memorable moments throughout the program.

With these enhancements, The Voice is poised to solidify its reputation as a leader in television entertainment. Last season, the show captured an impressive average of 1,143,000 viewers, securing a 13.5% share of the audience during Friday night broadcasts. Particularly appealing to the young demographic, it achieved a remarkable 16.9% share among viewers aged 13 to 24.

The Voice is produced through a collaboration between Atresmedia and ITV Studios Iberia, which handles full production in Spain, taking the reins from Boomerang. This global franchise has 157 adaptations in 76 territories, establishing it as one of the most internationally recognized talent shows. In addition to airing in Spain, the show will be accessible internationally via International Antena 3 and the International Atresplayer platform.

As anticipation builds for the new season of The Voice, viewers can look forward to an array of innovative features that promise to enhance the competitive spirit and entertainment value of this iconic show. With a stellar cast, exciting twists, and a rich history of success, The Voice is set to captivate audiences once again, confirming its status as a staple of musical talent shows.
