The project is multi-faceted, involving a three-level energy generation system. Traditional solar panels will be installed on the ground beneath the turbine, utilizing land previously occupied by conventional wind generators. The towering structure will not compete for wind resources with existing installations, effectively optimizing the energy output in these regions.

Construction of the wind turbine has already commenced, although initial projections for energy production were slightly delayed to  2026 . Gicon aims to expand its impact by installing up to  1,000  turbines across Germany by  2030 . Community Concerns and Local Impact

While this project presents a monumental leap in renewable energy technology, not all feedback has been positive. According to reports from  RBB , a local air club expressed concerns regarding the turbine’s proximity to the airfield, stating that it may negatively affect air traffic. However, the Superior Administrative Court of Berlin dismissed these claims, affirming that the airfield had ceased operations prior to the announcement of the wind turbine’s construction.

Despite some community pushback, Gicon remains committed to transparency and shared economic benefits with the local population. The primary focus remains on building a  sustainable future  while adhering to precision engineering and design protocols to ensure the success of the project.
