However, Dr. Bérengère Chignon-Sicard, an aesthetic surgeon, cautions against this. “In aesthetic medicine, techniques such as radiofrequency can help tighten skin but no miracle exists. For women over fifty, liposuction alone is often insufficient. Surgery may become necessary to address excessive skin while leaving visible scars.” Alternatives, such as self-massage techniques developed by Élisabeth Nado, involve draining movements to reduce arm volume and fight water retention.
