For the first time, the Customs Administration has seized cocaine in Svalbard, writes Svalbardposten. The drug dog “Trygve” marked the luggage of a man who landed in Longyearbyen. There they found 17 grams of hash and 0.4 grams of cocaine. “As far as I know, this is the first time we have seized cocaine here,” the Tolletaten area manager at Svalbard, Christian Fuglem told the newspaper. The man acknowledged the relationship and accepted a submission of NOK 12,500.
