Wednesday April 30, by decree at Official Journalthe government has declared the opening to all the citizens of the Cahiers des griténces written during the crisis of “yellow vests”, accessing a long -standing demand by citizen collectives, elected officials and academics across the country.
Raising several administrative barriers, the decree taken by the Prime Minister, François Bayrou, and the Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati, specifies that the writings produced during this debate “Can be freely communicated”. This concerns “Citizens’ notebooks, also called“ notebooks of complaints ”, individual or collective contributions, questionnaires fulfilled with local stands, and reports of local initiative meetings”. The Ministry of Culture also specified that this meant to be able to “Consult on site or obtain a copy of these documents, the originals of which are kept in the departmental archives and a digital version in the national archives”.
