On Wednesday, Sol Heilo experienced every artist’s worst nightmare: All her musical equipment was stolen. Heilo is desperate to get it back. She was advised to hire a private investigator to help. Since she cannot afford this herself, the solution was a Spleis to raise money. It was created on Wednesday, and a little before 22:00 on Thursday evening, the splice has reached NOK 200,000. – I am actually completely shocked that so many people have contributed, and that so much has come in. It is absolutely overwhelming and I am so moved. Now I can start a private investigation right away, and it’s just amazing. So I’m completely put out, that is. Completely put out, says Heilo. She says the loss of the trailer is a small thing in the world, but a tragedy for her. Plays on Thursday evening Heilo is known from the band Katzenjammer and was in the TV 2 program “Hver gang vi møtes” in 2019. According to Heilo, the cupboard contained between 30 and 50 instruments. But I have told people that I am trying to get hold of the most necessary equipment to be able to hold some concerts. So that I get to do what I can from my job, she says. In the evening, she will play a private concert. – I’m taking an acoustic guitar that I had hanging in the living room for private use, and my friend is bringing a ukulele bass that she had at home, Then I’ll just leave it at that, Heilo replies. The Swedish Road Administration is looking for Heilo now fears for his future as an artist. She has several projects which are now in jeopardy if the equipment is not ready. The only concrete clue is a neighbor who is said to have observed the trailer being connected to a white Tesla Model 3 at 9pm on Tuesday. Heilo is in constant contact with the police.
