L&#8217;all\u00e9gation: Le joueur de 32 ans a utilis\u00e9 le classique de Marvin Gaye &#8220;Let&#8217;s Get It On&#8221; pour sa pi\u00e8ce &#8220;Thinking Out Loud&#8221;, que Townsend a co-\u00e9crit. Lui et ses avocats ont fait valoir qu&#8217;il \u00e9tait loin d&#8217;\u00eatre le seul \u00e0 utiliser cette progression d&#8217;accords commune.  Le proc\u00e8s (bien qu&#8217;il ne s&#8217;agisse pas du premier du genre) a attir\u00e9 l&#8217;attention internationale &#8211; un verdict de culpabilit\u00e9 aurait sans aucun doute boulevers\u00e9 la question du droit d&#8217;auteur sur la musique populaire et potentiellement inspir\u00e9 d&#8217;autres proc\u00e8s.
