La direction de l&#8217;artiste le confirme lundi <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/allhiphop.com\/exclusives\/de-la-souls-trugoy-the-dove-has-died\/?utm_content=cmp-true\" target=\"_blank\">M\u00e9dias am\u00e9ricains<\/a>.  La cause du d\u00e9c\u00e8s est inconnue, mais le musicien souffrait d&#8217;insuffisance cardiaque depuis un certain temps. <\/p>\n<p>Trugoy, de son vrai nom David Jude Jolicoeur, a form\u00e9 le trio de rap De La Soul en 1988 avec Vincent Mason (Maseo) et Kelvin Mercer (Posdnuos).  Le groupe avait des hits tels que &#8220;Moi, moi-m\u00eame et moi&#8221; et &#8220;Ring ring ring&#8221;.  Leur premier album <em>3 pieds de haut et montant<\/em>sorti en 1989, a connu un succ\u00e8s mondial et en 1998 a \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9 l&#8217;un des films de La Source <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/rateyourmusic.com\/list\/Tempetz\/the_sources_top_100_rap_albums_of_all_time\/\" target=\"_blank\">100 meilleurs albums de rap<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>En 2010, la Biblioth\u00e8que du Congr\u00e8s a ajout\u00e9 son premier album au National Recording Registry, une liste o\u00f9 des enregistrements d&#8217;importance culturelle ou historique sont ajout\u00e9s chaque ann\u00e9e.  Le groupe a remport\u00e9 un Grammy en 2006 pour sa collaboration avec le groupe britannique Gorillaz sur le single &#8220;Feel Good Inc&#8221;.  En 2016, le trio sort son neuvi\u00e8me et dernier album, <em>Et le Personne Anonyme\u2026<\/em>cet album a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 nomin\u00e9 pour un Grammy. <\/p>\n<p>Le trio est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme &#8220;l&#8217;un des groupes les plus innovants et les plus influents&#8221; au monde <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/2023\/02\/trugoy-the-dove-de-la-soul-dead\/\" target=\"_blank\">histoire du hip hop<\/a>.
