Il s&#8217;agit de leur premier disque en 24 ans. Ils tentent de donner une interpr\u00e9tation moderne de la soul \u00e9lectro que les musiciens ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e dans les ann\u00e9es 1990.  &#8220;Le son concret \u00e9tait en fait la derni\u00e8re chose qui comptait pour nous lorsque nous avons commenc\u00e9 en mars 2021&#8221;, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Thorn \u00e0 propos de la r\u00e9alisation de l&#8217;album.  &#8220;Bien s\u00fbr, nous \u00e9tions conscients de la pression qui accompagne un retour tant attendu.  Nous avons essay\u00e9 de commencer dans un esprit de jeu ouvert, toujours sans direction claire et ouvert \u00e0 de nouvelles choses.<\/p>\n<p>Lors des enregistrements en studio, il y a \u00e9galement eu des frictions entre la chanteuse et son mari.  Mais: &#8220;M\u00eame si nous l&#8217;avons minimis\u00e9 au d\u00e9part, c&#8217;\u00e9tait comme si quelque chose s&#8217;\u00e9tait enflamm\u00e9.  Et cela s&#8217;est termin\u00e9 par une sorte d&#8217;union, une fusion \u00e9motionnelle. En 1994, ils sortent leur plus grand tube &#8220;Missing&#8221;.  Avec le remix de Todd Terry, le groupe atteint une renomm\u00e9e internationale.  Les musiciens sortent leur dernier album TEMPERAMENTAL en 1999. Un an plus tard, ils d\u00e9cident de dissoudre Everything But The Girl.
