Lanceur de javelot indien Shivpal Singh<\/strong> a re\u00e7u une interdiction de comp\u00e9tition de quatre ans pour une violation de dopage.<\/p>\n

Singh, qui a lanc\u00e9 un record de 86,23 m\u00e8tres, a donn\u00e9 un r\u00e9sultat de test positif apr\u00e8s la comp\u00e9tition qui s’est tenue en septembre de l’ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re. Selon la Commission antidopage indienne, la m\u00e9thandi\u00e9none, un st\u00e9ro\u00efde interdit, a \u00e9t\u00e9 retrouv\u00e9e dans le corps de l’athl\u00e8te de 27 ans.<\/p>\n

Le r\u00e9sultat positif du test a \u00e9t\u00e9 donn\u00e9 un bon mois apr\u00e8s les Jeux olympiques de Tokyo. Dans les cinq courses en anneau, Singh a rat\u00e9 la qualification avec un score de 76,40. Compatriote et quilleur num\u00e9ro un de l’Inde Neeraj Chopra<\/strong> a concouru pour l’or olympique avec un r\u00e9sultat de 87,58.<\/p>\n

Le r\u00e9sultat record de Singh lui a valu l’argent aux Championnats d’Asie en 2019.<\/p>\n

Singh avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 banni de la comp\u00e9tition en octobre de l’ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, donc avec l’interdiction de quatre ans, il pourra retourner sur les terrains de course en octobre 2025.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
