Sydney McLaughlin \u00e9tait plus de 1,5 seconde plus rapide que Bol et a \u00e9tabli un record du monde avec un temps de 50,68.  Dalilah Muhammad, 32 ans, a termin\u00e9 troisi\u00e8me.  Muhammad avait emp\u00each\u00e9 Bol de remporter l&#8217;argent aux Jeux de Tokyo l&#8217;ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>Le fait que Bol ne termine pas premi\u00e8re d&#8217;une comp\u00e9tition est une raret\u00e9 : en Europe, l&#8217;athl\u00e8te de 22 ans a remport\u00e9 toutes ses comp\u00e9titions sur 400 m\u00e8tres cette ann\u00e9e.
