Quelques jours apr\u00e8s sa nomination en tant que candidat au bureau pr\u00e9sidentiel de la World Handball Association IHF, Gerd Butzeck a comment\u00e9 l’avenir olympique de son sport.<\/p>\n

“En particulier en raison de la d\u00e9s\u00e9lection de l’allemand Thomas Bach en tant que pr\u00e9sident du CIO, je vois le handball en danger comme un sport olympique”, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 l’homme de 66 ans dans une interview avec le “Sportschau”. Le successeur de Bach Kirsty Coventry du Zimbabwe n’a “probablement jamais vu un match de handball”.<\/p>\n

L’Association allemande de handball (DHB) a annonc\u00e9 samedi pour envoyer Butzeck au pr\u00e9sident du pr\u00e9sident \u00e9gyptien Hassan Moustafa (81) lors de l’\u00e9lection du plus haut bureau du handball mondial au 40e Congr\u00e8s de l’IHF au Caire (19 au 22 d\u00e9cembre). Pour la premi\u00e8re fois depuis 2009, il y a un candidat oppos\u00e9.<\/p>\n
