Lo mismo se aplica al rev\u00e9s.  Los tres pa\u00edses del Benelux acordaron esto en un tratado que firmaron el jueves.<\/p>\n<article class=\"embed-block\">\n<section class=\"web-embed body-style body-style--s1 embed-block__content\"\/><\/article>\n<aside aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"banner banner--wsc-r1 banner--hide-double-column\"\/>\n<div class=\"textblock paragraph\">\n<p>El tratado policial hace que la polic\u00eda trabaje &#8220;sin barreras o, mejor dicho, sin fronteras&#8221;, dice el Secretario General Frans Weekers de la Uni\u00f3n Benelux.  Esto significa que las unidades especiales holandesas pueden ayudar en B\u00e9lgica y un ministro ya no tiene que cambiar de escolta de seguridad de camino a una reuni\u00f3n en Bruselas.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"textblock paragraph\">\n<p>La polic\u00eda y otros servicios de los tres pa\u00edses seguir\u00e1n intercambiando mucha m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n.  De este modo, un alcalde holand\u00e9s, por ejemplo, pronto podr\u00e1 detener a un belga con muchos antecedentes penales si quiere abrir una cafeter\u00eda.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"textblock paragraph\">\n<p>La polic\u00eda, el poder judicial y los administradores dicen que pueden aprovechar estas opciones en su lucha contra las cada vez m\u00e1s brutales bandas de narcotraficantes.  Se desplazan sin esfuerzo entre Rotterdam y Amberes y, siempre que es posible, evitan las restricciones que encuentran los agentes en la frontera.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"textblock paragraph\">\n<p>El tratado es &#8220;el mejor y m\u00e1s amplio tratado policial en Europa y, de hecho, mucho m\u00e1s all\u00e1&#8221;, afirma Weekers.
