Con De Geyter, el n\u00famero de estudiantes aument\u00f3 de 3.000 a m\u00e1s de 10.000 por primera vez este a\u00f1o acad\u00e9mico.<\/p>\n<p>Howest abre el a\u00f1o acad\u00e9mico con muchos m\u00e1s estudiantes y un nuevo director.  Frederik D&#8217;hulster sucede a Lode Degeyter.  Hasta ahora, D&#8217;hulster era director de educaci\u00f3n e internacionalizaci\u00f3n.  Quiere poner a\u00fan m\u00e1s \u00e9nfasis en la internacionalizaci\u00f3n, y la nueva construcci\u00f3n en Brujas tambi\u00e9n ser\u00e1 un desaf\u00edo: &#8220;Debemos, sobre todo, crear un campus vibrante donde estudiantes de lejos, desde Gante, Amberes, Lovaina, vengan a Courtrai y Brujas para estudiar&#8221;, dice D&#8217;hulster.<\/p>\n<p>Con cuatro nuevos cursos, el total es ahora 42.
