El m\u00e1ximo talento holand\u00e9s mejor\u00f3 el r\u00e9cord holand\u00e9s en los 1.500 metros en las semifinales.<\/p>\n<article class=\"embed-block\">\n<section class=\"web-embed body-style body-style--s1 embed-block__content\"\/><\/article>\n<aside class=\"banner banner--wsc-r1 banner--hide-double-column\"\/>\n<div class=\"textblock paragraph\">\n<p>Laros, de dieciocho a\u00f1os, hizo un tiempo de 3:32.74.  Con eso, el Brabander se sumergi\u00f3 quince cent\u00e9simas por debajo del r\u00e9cord holand\u00e9s, que compart\u00eda con Gert-Jan Liefers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"textblock paragraph\">\n<p>En junio, Laros igual\u00f3 el mejor tiempo nacional en las competiciones de Niza.  El r\u00e9cord holand\u00e9s llevaba casi 22 a\u00f1os en manos de Liefers, que bati\u00f3 su r\u00e9cord en Bruselas en 2001.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"textblock paragraph\">\n<p>Con su tiempo, Laros termin\u00f3 tercero en su semifinal y se clasific\u00f3 para la batalla final.
